Shipping Policy

We currently deliver across India. Availability of delivery to your specific pin code will be confirmed at checkout. We are working to expand our delivery network and will update this page as new regions become available.

We offer the following shipping options to ensure your mithais arrive fresh:

• Standard Shipping — estimated delivery within 3–5 business days
• Express Shipping — estimated delivery within 1–2 business days (available for select pin codes)

Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates and not guarantees. Actual delivery times may vary depending on your location, weather conditions, public holidays, and carrier availability.

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and the shipping method selected. Any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days from the time of order confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. During festive seasons and peak periods, processing times may be slightly longer — we will notify you if any significant delays are expected.

Our mithais are carefully packaged to preserve freshness, flavour, and presentation during transit. Each box is sealed and cushioned to prevent damage. For Build Your Own Box orders, your custom selection is arranged exactly as you designed it.

During warmer months, we may include additional protective packaging to ensure your mithais remain in optimal condition throughout the delivery journey.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email and/or SMS notification with your tracking details. You can use the tracking number to monitor the status of your delivery through the carrier's website. If you do not receive tracking information within 48 hours of placing your order, please contact us.

Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and complete at the time of placing your order. We are unable to redirect packages once they have been dispatched. If no one is available to receive the delivery, the carrier may attempt redelivery or leave the package at a safe location as per their standard procedures.

Given the perishable and delicate nature of our products, we request that you inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, opened, or contains incorrect items, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the issue. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbours and your building security. If the package remains missing, contact us within 48 hours and we will work with the shipping carrier to investigate. House of IKAI is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery by the carrier.

We currently do not offer international shipping. Our services are limited to deliveries within India. We hope to expand internationally in the future and will update this page accordingly.

During festive seasons such as Diwali, Raksha Bandhan, and other celebrations, we experience higher order volumes. We recommend placing your orders well in advance to ensure timely delivery. For bulk or corporate gifting orders, please contact us directly so we can accommodate your requirements and provide estimated delivery timelines.
